Underdog is an independent electronic music school based in Brussels, Belgium. Outside of Brussels, you can also follow the Underdog project through the YouTube channel, the online videocourses, and the chat community on Discord here.
The Underdog Classroom in Brussels is located at Rue Adolphe Lavallée 39, 1080 Brussels (google maps).
The Underdog team is made up of 3 siblings:
Oscar Underdog (he/him)
Oscar is the founder of Underdog, and the one doing all the talking on-camera, so it's probably his face you'll recognise first.
Billy Underdog (he/him)
Billy is the senior video editor taking care of the weekly horizontal video. He has the thankless job of trying to make Oscar look good for the audience.
Tessa Underdog (she/her)
Tessa edits Underdog's vertical videos, and co-manages the Underdog Classroom in Brussels.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR THE UNDERDOG CLASSROOM

The underdog classroom is a queer space. What does this mean?
It means that we recognise that we inherited a heteronormative colonialist capitalist society with unhealthy assumptions about many things (including gender, sexuality, race), and we want to create an art and learning space that takes us in a better direction.
Concretely, that manifests as:
- Being kind and welcoming of everyone. Educational spaces should have as few barriers to entry as possible, and nobody should be made to feel alienated in such a space.
- Acknowledge that these spaces have historically been dominated by cis white men, simply due to the normalising dynamics embedded in our society. Let's actively pull against that homogenising, flattening tendency.
- Let's not assume anyone's gender or orientation. Respect chosen pronouns, make no space for homophobia or transphobia.
- When interacting in an Underdog space, keep the principles of consent in mind. If anything creates discomfort (even if it's hard to explain why), speak to Oscar or Tessa, your concerns will be kept confidential, and if mediation is needed we can assist. Even if no intervention is needed, we can keep an eye on things, and you will know you are not alone in this space.
